¡Bienvenido a Miami!
I couldn't be more excited to be back in Miami, FL... it's one of those cities with the perfect mix of great weather, amazing food, culture and beautiful people.
I'm here shooting scenes for our upcoming music video for the single, "Work Me" off our debut album Welcome To The Future.
I wanted to document and share some of the awesome sights and scenes down here with all of you!
The song "Work Me" is fueled by love and passion and touches on a lot of Latin roots. A screenshot from a scene shot here in Miami shows a bit of the sensual side of the song.
How can you shoot a video in Miami and not take advantage of one of its best assets... the beach!? Parts of the verses were shot with the beautiful aqua blue Atlantic in the scene. Anyone who has been to South Beach will definitely recognize a few scenes once the video is released this Summer!
Anyone who knows me knows I love health/wellness and trying awesome new restaurants... one I got to visit in Miami on this trip was El Palacio de Los Jugos, and it didn't disappoint! This place is as authentic as it gets, with fresh juices (like this coconut water served with a straw after being hacked open with a machete!) and delicious Cuban and Latin American food.
A side of Florida not many tourists get to see is the amazing wildlife and surroundings. I lived in Florida for two years during grad school and fell in love with "true Florida". This is just a little taste of the state once you get off "the beaten path!"
I took a little road trip up to Orlando before flying home and had to take advantage of this photo opp with an astronaut at the Orlando airport!
Also had to pay respects to the legend.. Michael Jackson at the Seminole Hard Rock!
As much fun as it was filming down in Miami, I missed my partner in crime, Leray on this trip! Stay tuned for behind the scenes updates and teasers from Leray's video shoot for "Work Me"!
